Celebrating

I did a thing.

I did something that felt strange. I ordered a print of a picture of myself. And I ordered it in a large piece of wall art. I ordered it as a sample for my home studio, but I also ordered it for me. I love this picture of myself feeling beautiful and confident. I ordered it so that anytime I am feeling down or discouraged, I can walk down to my studio and remind myself of that confidence and beauty that is hiding somewhere inside of me. It felt strange to have a large picture of just me, but I think every woman should have a picture that makes her feel great hanging on her wall so she can feel that positive energy every time she walks past that artwork.

I did a thing that felt weird and uncomfortable, but I am so glad I did because now that I bit the bullet and did it, it feels great! I think I just worried about what others would think. That others may think that I am vain or conceited, or whatever…but I just want to be reminded that I am strong and I am confident and I am beautiful. Everyone should have that reminder on their wall. As women, we so often put ourselves on the back burner, taking care of our families, our businesses, our homes…our [insert any other responsibility we take care of].Celebrate yourself. Today and every day!
